The Jury, comprising renowned industry professionals and experts, will have to identify promising companies and innovations able to effectively provide solutions to issues faced by e-merchants, retailers and brands in general.
In deliberating, the members of the Jury will base their decisions on the following criteria:
- Innovative character of the presented product/service
- Efficiency vs. service provided
- Opportunity for the market
- Profitability/promise with regards to initial results/projections

Sébastien Badault, Managing Director France at Alibaba Group
Chair of the 2017 Jury
Sébastien Badault was appointed Managing Director of Alibaba Group France in December 2015. In this role, he will leverage his substantial experience running French operations for international online and e-commerce brands to connect the needs of French consumers and merchants with the capabilities of the Alibaba ecosystem.
As one of the first employees for both Amazon France and Google France, Mr. Badault drove sales and marketing teams to build local market share and enhance the online ecosystems for each organization. Prior to joining Alibaba, he spent more than ten years at Google, where he was most recently Global Account Director, responsible for the development of strategic customers in Southern Europe, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. Mr. Badault was previously European Business Development Manager for Amazon, where he was charged with the group’s customer and partner acquisition strategy across the UK Germany and France.
Mr. Badault received a bachelor’s degree in Science & Marketing from Boston College and master’s degree in Marketing from ESC Toulouse.
Alexandra Bouthelier, Executive Officer of the Fédération du Commerce Coopératif et Associé (Federation of Cooperative and Associated Trade)
In 1983, Alexandra Bouthelier - freshly graduated from ESCP - began her career in the Prisma Presse Group, in the Advertising Department. Over the next 13 years, she successively held the positions of Head of Advertising for “Ça m’intéresse”, Head of Advertising for “Prima” magazine (1986), Deputy Director, Advertising, for “Prima” (1991) then Deputy Director, Advertising, for “Femme Actuelle”.
In 1996, she was recruited by Bonnier Publications (Mon Jardin Ma Maison, Le Journal de la Maison, Maison Bricolages, Saveurs) as Sales Director, Advertising Department, and given the task of turning around sales that had been declining for 10 years.
In 1997, Alexandra flew off to Singapore to take up General Management of the French Chamber of Commerce.
In 2005, Alexandra joined the Fédération du Commerce Coopératif et Associé as Executive Officer.
Merete Buljo, Chief Digital & Customer Experience Officer at Natixis EuroTitres and Executive Committee Member
Born in Norway, Merete Buljo has been living in Paris for over 25 years. Thanks to her double culture and dual degree in humanities and computer science, Merete has a genuine ability to grasp both business and technological issues.
Her experience in the banking sector is rich and varied. Currently Chief Digital & Customer Experience Officer and member of the Executive Committee of Natixis EuroTitres, she is in charge of the innovation and digital transformation program for the firm.
At the same time, Merete Buljo represents the French Norwegian Chamber of Commerce in Paris as the chairwoman of the board. She is also a visiting lecturer in Master 4 and 5 at ISEG Marketing & Communication School and a regular speaker in conferences.
Alexandre Chevalier, Europe Director at Delsey SA
After a Master in Dauphine and a postmaster degree in Marketing at Sciences-Po Paris, Alexandre Chevalier begun his career at Unilever in 1993, combining sales and marketing responsibilities.
In 1997, he joins Barilla as a Product Manager, then becomes Key Account Manager, Market Director in Spain during 4 years based in Madrid, before to come back in France as both National Field Manager and Head of National Key Account.
He joins Delsey in 2010 as a Commercial Director for France before to enlarge his scope to other countries.
He becomes Europe Director in 2013.

Renaud Ménérat, President, MMA France (Mobile Marketing Association France)
Renaud Ménérat started his career in marketing services and promotion of sales within the Promodip group. Then, he joined Arcome and then Netcom in London as a consultant to mobile operators in Europe, South America and Africa.
Since 2000 Renaud has worked in mobile marketing, successively as marketing director of Hands-on Mobile and then of the group Netsize, where he created the Netsize Guide.
Renaud is graduated of the Institut Supérieur du Commerce in Paris. Renaud is the president and founder of userADgents, created in 2008.

Régis Pennel, Founder, L'Exception
Régis Pennel is the founder of L'Exception concept store. He graduated the Ecole Polytechnique and began his career in finance before radically changing the way for fashion. He worked for 5 years for the revival of the Celine fashion luxury house with the arrival of Phoebe Philo. In parallel, he launched the Little Style Box blog which introduces him to the Parisian creative scene. In 2011, he founded L'Exception, now the online reference for French designers with more than 400 brands for women and men. In 2016, L'Exception offers an unprecedented multi-channel experience with the opening of its first flagship store at the Canopée of Forum des Halles.
Bertrand Pineau, eCommerce, Information Systems & New Technology Manager, Fevad
Bertrand Pineau holds qualifications in IT (Nantes University) and Communications (Paris VII). Since 2002 he has been responsible for new technology at FEVAD (Fédération e-commerce et Vente à distance - eCommerce and Distance Selling Federation): technology watch and organising conferences, workshops and events.
